Team News vs The Grand

The Ghosts have announced their provisional squad for their relegation crunch game with The Grand. The headline story is that fans favourite and flair goalkeeper Rob Gill is unavailable. Tom Stewart acted quickly to placate the furious Poltergeists by including crafty winger John Marshall in the squad for the first time.

John, known to fans as 'Further John' for his proficiency at Further Maths A-Level (and his ability to take the ball further up the wing than most), will add depth to the creative play and give the Ghosts an extra dimension.

Tom Stewart returns to the squad after recovering from his assassination attempt and will take Gill's place between the sticks. The rest of the squad remains unchanged, which means the Ghosts will be able to use a substitute for the first time, which will no doubt help a team, known for running out of energy in their high octane encounters.

Ralph Miller said, "it's a massive blow to lose Rob. However, John is a great player and I look forward to having the extra man for Monday".

The provisional squad:
Tom Stewart
Alex Civello
Ralph Miller
John Marshall
Rob Edmonds
Brett Crossingham
